Lexi's xrays showed significant improvement. It was amazing how much junk was in her lungs before. Her first xray was practically all white. The one today had clear, healthy areas that were black. No wonder she was coughing so much. Poor girl.
Thankfully, the odds of a tumor have gone down dramatically. Now that the infection is gone, they can clearly see that. They aren't sure if she had/has pneumonia or bronchitis, but whatever it is, it's going away.
She is to be on antibiotics and anti-inflamatories for the next 20 days. Hopefully this will get rid of whatever is left over.
I am so relieved. Honestly, I had already begun picturing how it would be like with one dog. I was so sad.
But, thankfully our Lexi Girl is ok.
