Think I need a vacation?I cannot wait until it's warm enough for me to sit outside with a cold beverage, wearing a tank top and shorts, and soak up the sun.
Aaaaaahhh!!
The good news is that today I saw GREEN in the front garden! My tulips are busy pushing thru the dirt and it gives me hope. I know that, while winter isn't finished, spring isn't far off.
We have survived another winter!
I'll drink to that!
The arrival of spring also means that the kids will be able to play outside after school and burn off their surplus of energy. I know they have to keep themselves fairly contained at school and when they get home, it's their time to break free. I just wish all that freeness didn't have to be so loud.
Most of the time, they can close a bedroom door or I'll tell them to go in the basement. This will usually contain the noise. But, sometimes it gets way too loud and crazy for me. When the weather is warmer, they can go outside and be the crazy, cracked-up spider monkeys they act like and it won't bother me a bit!
Right now, however, I have to keep reminding them not to jump off their beds or tackle each other. It seriously sounds like they're about to come thru the celing and land right in my lap.
